Payment

How / When do I pay?

To secure your spot on the tour(s) of your choice, a non-refundable $300 down payment is required per person, per tour. 

 

After the $300 non-refundable deposit has been paid the remaining balance will be broken up into 3 equal payments. Those non-refundable payments will be due on the following dates:

  • May 1, 2025 – 1st is payment is due.

  • August 1, 2025 – 2nd payment is due.

  • November 1, 2025 – The final payment is due.

Although all payments are nonrefundable the spots are transferable, meaning if you aren't personally able to travel with us then you CAN send someone else in your place.

What if I register for a trip after May 1st?

The price of each tour will go up by 10% after May 1st. This is to offset the increased cost of booking hotels & tours closer to departure. We work hard to secure the nicest hotels at the lowest available price by negoiating directly with the hotels early on so book as soon as possible!

What methods of payment do you accept?

At registration you will be able to indicate how you'd like to pay. We accept Venmo, Check, Zelle, Cash, PayPal & Credit Card. 3% fee will be added for PayPal & Credit Card transactions.

What if I change my mind or can't go for some reason?

All payment are non-refundable so we recommend getting personal travel insurance incase you aren't able to make it for any reason. The spots on the trip are transferrable though so if you are able to find someone else to take your spot we are happy to have them! (But we'll miss you!)

Multiple Trips / Trip Extensions

Can I join you for more than 1 trip?

Yes! Absolutely! And as a bonus you will get 10% off the price of any additonal weeks. Additionally, your transportation between the tours will be booked for you at no extra cost. 

Can I arrive earlier or stay later after the tour has ended?

Yes! Absolutely! You've come all this way... why not!? Come early and get adjusted to the time change or stay a few days longer on the back end! We are happy to assist in booking addtional hotel nights & suggest sightseeing activities. There is no service fee for this ...just cover the addtional night(s) at the hotel and you are good to go! 

Luggage / Shipping Items Home

Will there be someone to carry my bags?

No, you will need to be physically fit enough to manage your bags as we travel. This includes on/off trains , up and down stairs & down cobblestoned streets so we suggest you pack light (we'll send out tips for this as the trip approaches) and choose a carry-on size with sturdy wheels. 

Will vendors ship items home for me at the markets? 

Not usually, but it never hurts to ask! In the past our travelers have found that they are able to find DHL or FedEx locations nearby to ship bulky or fragile items home.

Accomodations

Are the hotels close to the markets?

Yes! We will be staying at 4+ star hotels, very central to the markets. So if you feel like taking a break from shopping or want to drop off your purchases you can do so easily!

Do I have to share a room?

Nope! You can have a room to yourself if you wish! See the fee noted in the information for each trip for the extra fee associated with this. 

Do I get to pick my roommate?

Yes! Let us know who you want to room with when you register. If you are coming alone & don't know anyone else on the trip & want to share a room you will be assigned a roommate of the same sex. All beds in shared rooms are twins. 

What is included at the hotel?

All hotel rooms & city taxes are included in the price of the trip. If you wish to take advantage of extra hotel services such as but not limited to, laundry, spa services, room service, mini bar, etc then that is at your own expense.

What if I want to have 3 or more in a room?

Contact us at ElevatedTravelAdventures@gmail.com or let us know at registration and we will see about making adjustments to the reservations to accomodate your request. *This may increase the price for each person as the bigger rooms that hold more people are ususally suites. 

What if I want to upgrade my room to a suite? 

Contact us at ElevatedTravelAdventures@gmail.com or let us know at registration and we will see about making adjustments to the reservations to accomodate your request and advise you of any additonal cost. 

Transportation

Can you help me book tickets to/from the trip location?

Yes! I am happy to help book your flights for an additonal fee of $100 per person. I will help you to search for the best times & fares, book award travel & suggest the best seat assignments and request special meals if required.

Will we have seat assignments on the trains?

Yes! You will be given seat assignments whenever they are available. Some local trains, trams and city buses will not offer assigned seats but if it is available to book an assigned seat we will have one!

How will I know what train to take or where to go?

From the moment we meet at the airport I will be there to show you the way! I will lead you to the correct platform at the right time and inform you of when we will be getting off the train as well. No need to worry, I got you!

Are ubers or individual travel methods included?

Any traveling done outside of the planned group travel is at your own expense.
