German & French Christmas Market Tour

You have the flexibility of flying into Munich, where you can meet up with Melissa for a scenic 2-hour train ride to Nuremberg, or fly directly into Nuremberg and meet up with the group at the hotel. After settling into your hotel, you can step out to explore the famous Nuremberg Christmas Markets, where twinkling lights, festive aromas, and handcrafted gifts await.

Explore Nuremberg’s Medieval Old Town, visit Nuremberg Castle, and admire St. Lorenz Church. After sightseeing, take a 1-hour train to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, where you can wander the Christmas Markets and visit the iconic Käthe Wohlfahrt Christmas Store. Return to Nuremberg for your second night. **Optional sacrament meeting

After breakfast, take a scenic 3-hour train ride to Heidelberg. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and drop your bags before setting off  to explore this charming city and it's beautiful christmas markets. 

Today we'll ride the funicular up to the Heidelberg Castle where we will explore the castle and enjoy the stunning views of the city below. In the evening, wander through Heidelberg’s festive Christmas Markets, where the holiday spirit fills the air in this hallmark movie- like market.

This morning, we’ll leave Heidelberg by train & make our way to Strasbourg, with a relaxing stop in Baden-Baden along the way. Famous for its luxurious thermal baths, you’ll have the opportunity to unwind and rejuvenate at one of the city’s renowned thermal spas. While here you may opt to schedule a salt scrub or a massage treatment (for an extra fee) After a relaxing few hours, we'll continue the journey onto Strasbourg, where we’ll check in to the hotel before heading out to explore the Christmas markets!

Today, we’ll enjoy the charming city of Strasbourg and visit the Alsatian Museum where you can step back in time to when the half timbered houses were built and discovered the origins of many of our beloved Christmas traditions. The cherry on the top will be spending the evening at the Christmas Markets here in Le Petit France and the rest of the city. 

Today, we’ll use Strasbourg as our base for a day trip to Colmar and charming villages of Ribeauvillé or Kayersberg, just a short 45-minute journey away. You can hone your inner Belle as you wander through the cobbled streets & medieval architecture that inspired Beauty & The Beast. After soaking in the sights we'll return to Strasbourg to rest up before our journey to Zurich

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel we will travel by train to Zurich (2.5 hrs). There we will drop our bags off at the hotel before touring the Lindt Chocolate Factory. We will then spend our last evening together exploring the Old Town Zurich Christmas Markets.

Back at the hotel we'll rest up before catching our return flights home the next morning.
